The Women's Line - Shield Maiden
Gear & Extras - Hats, Glasses & Accessories
What We Build
This is not high fashion. It is durable, gritty workwear. Built to take a beating and keep showing up. It started on a refinery turnaround, with an ironworker who wanted gear that held up on the job and said who he was without saying a word. He could not buy it. So he built it.
Gear that says who he is without saying a word. This is it. William McGranahan, Founder
Strength
Clothes made for work that leaves a mark. No show, no soft talk. Just hard use.
Integrity
Good gear does not need a speech. It holds up when the day gets ugly.
Built On The Job
Tested by the people who show up before the sun and leave after it.
Dependability
For the men and women who keep crews moving and homes fed.

The Founder
William McGranahan.
In 1994, William strapped on his tool belt and walked onto his first job site as an ironworker. Over the next three decades, that path took him deep into the heart of America's heavy industry - bouncing between the towering structures of refineries, the high-stakes heat of power plants, and the punishing environments of steel mills. Traveling the country for work, he didn't just clock in; he lived the grind. He wore every hat the trade could throw at him, and in the process he wore out every piece of FR gear on the market, learning exactly where standard workwear falls short when the heat rises and the hours get long.
That lifetime of grit and firsthand experience is the foundation of Valknut Workwear. William didn't build this brand to just sell clothes; he built it because he knew the men and women in the trenches deserved better. Over thirty years of hard-earned knowledge go into gear engineered by someone who actually knows what it takes to survive the elements. Built with a purpose: to stand toe-to-toe with the harshest environments and never fail, never quit, and never back down when the going gets tough.
